The three most common spill types:

Oils (Hydrocarbons) - Oil absorbents are hydrophobic. These products are treated to repel water and water based liquids. They will float on water and remove oil from the surface. Oil absorbent products are coloured WHITE
Chemical - Aggressive Liquids (Acids, Alkali’s, Solvents and Oxidisers). These products are universal absorbents. They will absorb almost any liquid including oils. Products suitable for aggressive liquids are coloured YELLOW
General Universal Maintenance - Products will absorb many liquids including oils, they are ideal for workshops as an alternative to traditional loose absorbents for use with oil and other liquids to keep workplace clean and hazard free. General Universal
