At Dunlop® Protective Footwear, we design, develop, produce, market and sell our own high quality protective boots for the European market. We have sales offices in four European countries, our own production facilities in Portugal and Holland, and three distribution centres. We operate in West and Southern Europe and are developing in the Russian, Canadian, United States and East European markets.

Dunlop® Protective Footwear provides boots to the agricultural, food processing and construction industry, and our boots are characterised by innovation, functional design, durability and comfort. Within its product range Dunlop® Protective Footwear has developed two materials with specific properties which are marketed under their brand names Purofort® and Acifort®.

Dunlop® Protective Footwear is sold through wholesale and industrial distribution channels. As market leader we always strive to offer an optimum quality/price relationship on all our products and services.

The Purofort name is an amalgamation of the material from which it is made; Polyurethane, and the comfort feature. Polyurethane is a synthetic material which uses a unique process involving millions of microscopic air bubbles making the boot exceptionally supple, even at extremely low temperatures. In addition to this, Purofort® is thermally insulating, lightweight and shock absorbing. Furthermore, the polyurethane properties offer increased durability and high resistance to chemicals.

All of the above result in remarkably comfortable, safe boots. Purofort® boots are warm in winter and cool in summer. They absorb shock, prevent fatigue, have good traction and are 100% waterproof. They are also cost efficient; Purofort boots last twice as long as normal boots and staff or personal users alike will benefit from the superior protection. Users can depend on Purofort®.

Designed especially for the construction, farming and the food processing industries, Dunlop® Purofort® boots are suitable for the most diverse applications. They can be supplied with steel toecaps and intermediate midsoles for optimum protection.

The name ‘Acifort' is derived from acid and comfort; emphasising that these boots are acid resistant and comfortable. Dunlop® Acifort® boots are made from a mixture of nitrile rubber and PVC, injection moulded to form a seamless and completely waterproof product. These made-to-measure boots offer extra protection in specific conditions.

Acifort® boots are especially safe. They have exceptional traction and can be supplied with steel toecaps and a steel midsole for extra protection. Many Acifort® models are equipped with extra reinforcement in critical places such as the toe, ankle and shin areas. A number of models are also equipped with extra safety features, including antistatic and insulating properties.

Acifort boots conform to various European standards, including CE, EN344, EN345, EN347 and EN50321, and to European directives (EU). Acifort® stands for safety, comfort and durability.
